FIRST DAY: COTOPAXI HUT AND ICE PRACTICE
Departure from Quito at 10 am in a 4x4 private transportation towards the south in about 3 hours to the first shelter that is at 4,500 meters height. Then one hour walk to Jose Rivas hut at 4800 meters. Then take a box lunch, and have a chat with the guides in order to prepare equipment and a technical practice on ice. We will dinner at 6 pm and go to rest until midnight.

SECOND DAY: COTOPAXI SUMMIT
We wake up at midnight to take a hot tea and make sure our equipment is ready to begin the ascent to the summit that has 5897 m height. After 5 to 7 hours we will reach the summit and will enjoy a beautiful scenery of the Andes. Then 2 to 3 hours back to the hut, collect our gear and back down to the transportation. We will be returning back to Quito around 2PM for a good rest.
